  • Lopez Studios, Inc. Performing Arts School has been offering premium arts-related programs to the community for 28 years. We have had over 3500 students enter our doors to participate in our Music and Theater Programs. In addition, hundreds of students have made Lopez Studios, Inc. a major part of their Summer Recreation. Our tradition of excellence through quality instruction, character education, attention to detail, and qualified staff has made us a trusted partner in providing arts-related programs for the community.

  • Lopez Studios, Inc. Performing Arts Preparatory School is a Private Award Winning Performing Arts School in Reston, VA offering premium programs in Acting, Piano, Guitar, and Voice. For 20 Years and counting, our programs have integrated four basic principles of development that capitalize on the skill-building qualities inherent to arts instruction. Through instruction at Lopez Studios, Inc. students are encouraged to develop the facets of Character, Integrity, Discipline and Service through interactive instruction, practice, sharing, and performance. Our students are encouraged to be the best they can be while understanding that their talent is ONLY a small part of their development.

  • Our History

  • Lopez Studios, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Victor Lopez to offer instruction in the performing arts. Starting with only 2 students as a full time music teacher in both public and private schools, Victor Lopez began offering private instruction in voice and piano after school hours and weekends as well as traveling to homes. While most of his initial enrollment stemmed from students he was teaching in a classroom setting, his philosophy and teaching style grew by word of mouth in the community and thus his private student roster grew as well. After 2 years of teaching students privately after school, his student roster quickly grew from 2 to over 50 students per week with a waiting list of over 25 students. He then began renting out the basements of local churches as well as the basement of his home to accommodate his growing student load. In the fall of 1999, Victor would resign from his teaching position and further pursue development of the studio full time.

  • Lopez Studios, Inc. is proud to have worked with students that have gone on to make their mark in the entertainment business. Our students have performed on NBC, Jimmy Kimmel Live, NBC's The Voice TV Show, American Idol, MTV, The Shakespeare Theater, The X Factor, Good Morning America, The Michael J. Fox Show, the Today Show, Fox 5, Off-Broadway, Broadway, Netflix, Nickalodeon and have also produced singles, feature films, music videos, full albums, and syndicated commercials. Check out a few of our current students and alumni who are now pursuing their dream on a professional level. We could not be prouder. Our Alumni have also been accepted into the most prestigious Performing Arts Related Universities and Conservatory's in the country such as California Institute of the Arts, CalArts, NYU Tisch, The Juliard School, Carnegie Mellon, Northwestern, Shenandoah University, Baldwin Wallace University, Belmont University , Berklee College of Music and many more.
